Biography

Peter Reuterberg, currently resides in Marstrand in the archipelago of Bohuslän, Sweden. His entire life has been dedicated to drawing, painting, and sculpting. Known for his captivating artistic style often depicting people interacting harmoniously with nature, his work is brought to life through his sculptures, an interplay between introspection and observation.

Reuterberg’s bronzes examine the nuances of human interaction and our relationship to the natural world. His work balances thoughtful observation with a quiet sense of humor, allowing small gestures and subtle behaviors to reveal something essential about how people move through life.

Approaching his subjects with a blend of curiosity and discipline, Reuterberg describes his practice this way:

“My art reflects both my internal landscape and the world I encounter every day. I’m interested in brief, often overlooked moments the angle of a posture, the tension in a hand, or the way a figure seems to hold an unspoken story. Each sculpture preserves one of these moments, inviting viewers to consider their own interpretations. Through my work, I hope to create a space where past and present meet, and where familiar experiences can be seen from a slightly different, sometimes unexpectedly humorous, perspective.”

Peter Reuterberg’s art features in multiple private collections stretching from Scandinavia, to China. His art also features in many municipal art collections across Sweden. In recent years he has exhibited to much acclaim in Sweden, Norway, Portugal, The Netherlands , Turkie and Spain.
