In 2002, during the early days of mass Internet communications, I was inspired to create this sculpture by a friend who was already constantly glued to his screen. When you look at it, you can see a gradual deconstruction of the subject in the form of pixels sliding in and out, as if being sucked into the screen. This movement contrasts with the static posture, leaning on one arm, like Rodin's Thinker updated. Hence, the title of the work, which also refers to the fundamental key on the keyboard—Enter—and invites us to plunge beyond the screen and visit another dimension. The integration of a lens through the computer's point of view brings a reciprocity between man and machine, a meeting of the real and the virtual, with the use of anamorphosis, a major characteristic of my work.
